Why do we love this case?
This lineup of wines from across France is the best of the best, from the Burgundy to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and even including an epic Grand Cru Bordeaux. It shows off the breadth and variety of wine’s homeland, from north to south to east to west. If you are interested in French wine, but don’t know where to start - this is the pack for you!
Each pack contains ONE of the following:
1x Les Amandiers Bouteille Grenache Blend 2019
Red — Grenache Blend
Rhône Valley — France
Les Amandiers Bouteille grenache blend is made by cult producer Raymond Usseglio from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one of our favourites from the region. This delicious grenache blend is packed with super fresh berries - raspberry, strawberry, loganberry - plus distinctive chinotto and blood orange. There are even stone fruits on the palate. It’s a lovely and fresh with medium-to-full weight, grippy and fruit-driven without being too serious or too flippant.
You’d pay $60 full price.

1x Winerie Parisienne Blanc de Noirs XP 2019
Red — Gamay
France — France
Blanc de Noirs is a term that is usually reserved for Champagne and other sparkling wines - but in this case, it’s a still white wine made by French urban winemakers Winerie Parisienne. Made from gamay, it’s a light to medium-bodied wine, full of pear, spice and gentle mineral notes. Somewhat reminiscent of a pinot blanc and just begging to be paired with a long lunch and group of your best mates.
You’d pay $70 full price.

1x 6pk Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Les Fichots Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru 2019 750mL
Red — Pinot Noir
Burgundy — France
Just in front of Corton-Charlemagne lies the vineyard for Les Fichots, deemed as some of the most desirable soils for pinot that Nicolas works with. Southeast-facing, 40 to 60 year old vines produce concentrated fruit buzzing with minerality and a generous acid line. With each new sip your palate will experience new delights, each one complementing the last. This is only just coming into its prime drinking window, meaning there’s years aplenty to enjoy these bottles- one special occasion at a time.
You’d pay $140 full price.

Tasting Notes
1x JB Bachevillier Mont Joly Beaujolais Villlages 2019
Red — Gamay
Beaujolais — France
Young Beaujolais native Jean-Baptiste boasts an illustrious career. From doing vintages in Australia’s McLaren Vale (Coriole) to USA’s Sonoma (Chalk Hill), and all over Europe with famous French producers (including Yves Cuilleron). He had quite a curated apprenticeship, which ultimately lead to a rare opportunity to acquire the Domaine du Mont Joly in Beaujolais. With these ancient granite soils, and 2.5 hectares of vines, it’s all about gamay and the unearthing of vast terroirs in Beaujolais-Villages. Beaujolais which shows intensity is a wondrous thing. With a deep nose that offers juicy black cherries, bramble and ripe plum, this is quite concentrated with chunkier upfront tannins that taper into a silky ‘peacock feather’ shaped finish. This is all about exuberance, yet with an effortlessness feeling. Wow.
You’d pay $90 full price.

1x Château Sixtine Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2019
Red — Grenache Blend
Châteauneuf-du-Pape — France
Welcome to the new vintage of Château Sixtine, our most popular Châteauneuf-du-Pape ever! Buyer John Clark describes it as ‘one of the best wines I’ve ever bought’. Nobody’s going home disappointed with this. It’s generous and rich, but amazingly approachable at the same time. You’ll decant it, of course, to get every millimetre of depth and nuance out of it. But you won’t feel like you’re missing out by drinking it now. Have a couple this year, a couple in five, and a couple in ten. Then open your second case for the following decade. Go for a meaty lamb roast with this, and don’t spare the Provençal herbs.
You’d pay $120 full price.
