Celebrating the work of lyric poet John Shaw Neilson,  who lived at the cottage at Coonawarra’s famous Hollick winery in South Australia. This cabernet that will utterly delight and yet, is rich and plush enough to see your glass empty without effort. Blackcurrants, vanilla and delicate spice underpin this earthy and flavoursome red. Approachable, and high quality cabernet. It’s like an Australian Bordeaux.

This is one of those 'if you know you know' wines. We've had the privilege to work with Hollick for years and years. It's almost embarrassing to say how many, it makes us feel old. This range originally was all about shiraz, but we're bringing in the big guns: Coonawarra cabernet. Erring more on the side of chocolate and blackberry cake than it is mint and eucalypt, yet still so notably Coonawarra.
