Why do we love this case?
France’s Rhône Valley is a truely wondrous place, where grenache, syrah and their mates grow to make incredible wines. This pack is just a tiny glimpse into what the region is capable of, featuring the stand-out appellations of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône. Time to dust off that decanter and polish the good glassware!
Each pack contains ONE of the following:
1x Chateau La Borie Côtes-du-Rhône Villages 2019
Red — Grenache Blend
Côtes du Rhône — France
Château La Borie, one of the few domains in Côtes-du-Rhône bearing the name Château, was built in the 17th century. Since then, it has passed through several families and is under the care of the Margnat family today. Situated ten kilometres from the left bank of the Rhône river, the winery produces four wines from its 75 hectares of vines.
La Borie’s Côtes-du-Rhône Villages is a blend of syrah, grenache and mourvèdre sourced from vines over clay and stone. Macerated dark fruits drive the palate of the wine with minerality, spice and chocolate as complements. This is one that’s ready to go now but has nearly a decade of life if you choose to let it age.
You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Les Amandiers Bouteille Grenache Blend 2019
Red — Grenache Blend
Rhône Valley — France
Les Amandiers Bouteille grenache blend is made by cult producer Raymond Usseglio from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one of our favourites from the region. This delicious grenache blend is packed with super fresh berries - raspberry, strawberry, loganberry - plus distinctive chinotto and blood orange. There are even stone fruits on the palate. It’s a lovely and fresh with medium-to-full weight, grippy and fruit-driven without being too serious or too flippant.
You’d pay $60 full price.

1x Château de Vaudieu Chateauneuf Du Pape 2020
Red — Grenache Blend
Rhône Valley — France
This family run vineyard is located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is quite literally called the Valley of God (Val de Dieu). Making wine for over 250 years, the soil is grown on gentle slopes with premium sunshine, which allows the grapes to turn rich and juicy. Resting in oak barrels for a year and a half before it gets put in the bottle, this wine is big, bold and fabulous. With intense flavours of dried cherry, leather and chocolate, we recommend pulling this one out for your fanciest dinner.

1x Oxymore Shiraz Grenache 2019
Red — Shiraz Blend
Rhône Valley — France
“Stunningly deep nose of blackberries, wet earth and smoke that conjures up a picture of wind-swept autumnal vineyards after a hot, dry summer. Remarkable elegance and vitality on the full-bodied palate of this expansively aromatic yet very focused red. Quite some tannins, but they’re already well integrated. Long licorice and mineral finish. A blend of 65% syrah with 30% grenache and 5% counoise. Drink or hold.” - James Suckling
You’d pay $75 full price.
