Bindi Kostas Rind Chardonnay 2024

$210 / 3PK
Tiny production. About 400 cases a year. One of Australia's greatest cool-climate wines. This is Bindi at their most precise and considered. Wild fermented, ten months on full lees in French oak, minimal intervention throughout. The kind of winemaking that produces something genuinely rare and worth seeking out.

Why do we love this wine?
Fragrant and completely compelling on the nose - lemon, white flower, spice and a nutty wet stone complexity that draws you straight in. The palate is fresh and intensely focused, with a gentle creaminess giving way to vibrant fruit, fine acidity and a pure, long finish that just keeps building. 95 points from Halliday for the previous vintage. The 2024 according to winemaker Michael Dhillon will "improve for five plus years and live well beyond." Decant it. Give it air. Then appreciate something genuinely special.
