Domaine Roland Lavantureux Chablis 2019
Domaine Roland Lavantureux have been growing grapes in Chablis for generations, but it wasn’t until 1979 that they started bottling their own wine. Their Chablis appellation wine is made with minimal fuss - only 20% of the wine sees oak, so fruit-purity is at the fore. From a low yielding year that produced wines of great concentration, the grapes were picked at the perfect time which resulted in a fresh, vibrant wine. The well-balanced palate is full of yellow nectarines, grapefruit pitch and melon. There is a touch of spice in the wine too which is apparent on the lingering finish.
It’s cool, we get it, you want to know absolutely everything about this wine. Well here you go, go nuts.
