3PK - $60 / BTL
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the beating heart of the southern Rhone - the wines of the region are globally renowned and we can see why. The warm, gnarled, windswept region produces - and this is no exaggeration - the greatest Mediterranean wines on earth.
3PK - $60 / BTL
Why do we love this case?
The thread running through these wines is the ripeness and the juiciness of the fruit, which speaks to regionallity more than it does winemaking. Châteanuef-du-Pape is characterised by its warmth and the soil profiles capacity to retain warmth; in the glass this makes for baked in richness and lusciously ripe fruit profiles. There is still freshness and zeal running throughout the wines, mind you - in fact it's the regions ability to retain the nervy feverishness of acid while presenting developed fruit that makes it so remarkable.
1x Château de Vaudieu Chateauneuf Du Pape 2020
Red — Grenache Blend
Rhône Valley — France
This family run vineyard is located in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and is quite literally called the Valley of God (Val de Dieu). Making wine for over 250 years, the soil is grown on gentle slopes with premium sunshine, which allows the grapes to turn rich and juicy. Resting in oak barrels for a year and a half before it gets put in the bottle, this wine is big, bold and fabulous. With intense flavours of dried cherry, leather and chocolate, we recommend pulling this one out for your fanciest dinner.

1x Château Sixtine Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020
Red — GSM
Châteauneuf-du-Pape — France
"This seriously impressive 2020 is going to deliver the goods over the coming 10-15 years."
– Jeb Dunnuck
Head Buyer John Clark describes it as ‘one of the best wines I’ve ever bought’ and multiple vintages later, we’re standing by it. Nobody’s going home disappointed with this. It’s generous and rich, but amazingly approachable at the same time. We’d recommend you decant this- or just pop the cork and let it breathe for a few hours. When something offers this much depth and nuance, it’s the best course of action to make sure you’re getting all that you can from your glass. Crack a couple of bottles this year, a couple in five, and a couple in ten. If you’re like us and buy big, you might even have some more for the next decade. Go for a meaty roast with this, and all your worries will fade away.
You’d pay $90 full price.

1x Patrick Lesec Galets Blonds Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2019

Châteauneuf-du-Pape — France
"Châteauneuf du Pape that has a terrific sense of freshness, ripe yet present tannins, and a great finish. It’s well worth seeking out."
– Jeb Dunnuck
Monsieur Lesec is a jovial chap, slightly portly and upbeat. He’s about the living embodiment of joie de vivre, and has somehow imbued that spirit into his plump, satisfying Châteauneuf. Sensationally concentrated and rich, the amount of flavour he’s packed into one delicious bottle is stunning. Ripe cherries and berries, tangy licorice, tobacco and spice – it’s all there. The cellar potential of these wines is ludicrous, but they’re drinking beautifully already so don't hesitate to get stuck in.
You’d pay $100 full price.
