We don’t agree on a lot in the buying team, with opinions often varying and passions often rising, HOWEVER, we do agree on one thing: Wrattonbully and shiraz are a magical combination. Take the soils of the region, the power of shiraz and place them in the hands of the ever-trusted Hollick and you have a very good wine.

2017 was a long and cool season, so the grapes had the time to develop complexity, and following fermentation, the wine spent 18 months in French and American oak. This patience in the vineyard and cellar has created a wonderful wine, full of spice and tannins. It’s slightly lighter than your average South Aussie red at 13.7% and this elegance makes the wine a hit with and without food.
