Why do we love this wine?
It pours a vibrant, deep purple - straight off the grid with instant wow-factor. The nose is plush and inviting: dark chocolate, black cherry, mulberry and bay leaf all jostling for position in the first lap. There's a savoury twist of dried herbs and just a flick of spice to keep things exciting. The palate is extraordinary. Smooth as a hairpin turn on race day. Fine, silk-like tannins wrap around rich black fruit, while cherry and chocolate notes push all the way through to a long, focused finish. Perfectly balanced, impressively structured, and dangerously easy to drink, this is a wine firing on all cylinders. Drink now or hold for 10–15 years, if you’ve got the patience (we don’t).
