Why do we love this wine?
Aligoté is Burgundy's 'other' white grape, and for a long time it lived in the shadow of Chardonnay. However, a new generation of winemakers is proving just how incredible this varietal can be when planted in good soils and treated with respect. Domaine Ninot's expression is a masterclass in modern Aligoté, sourced from organically farmed plots that impart a beautiful sense of terroir.
