Why do we love this wine?
Juicy and full, classic and complex - a 'humdinger', I believe is the technical term. This wine has spice neatly folded into it's luscious layers of raspberry coulis, briary fruits, oak notes. It is is youthful in all the right ways: fresh acidity, exuberant fruit. And aged in all the other right ways: umami, meaty decay (that's a good thing, I promise) and wet earth. This will benefit from a moment in your decanter - or a rigourous swirl in your glass, in a pinch - just to open it's lungs a little and soften slightly.
