Why do we love this case?
Here, we bring you the best of the best. These are the wines that our producers have loved so dearly that they've kept a few behind at the cellar for their future selves (and, some lucky customers who might get the winemakers on a good day). We've had to do some really sweet talking, a little bit of begging, and a lot of string-pulling to curate this case. Presenting: the inaugural Aged. Shiraz. Selection. It feels good to say it, and even better to drink it.
2x Lou Miranda Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz 2017
Red — Shiraz
Barossa Valley — Australia
The Barossa shiraz we’ve all been waiting for - the newest vintage of Lou Miranda’s single vineyard shiraz is back and isn’t here to mess around! Handcrafted from vines planted on stoney, clay & premium soil, this Barossa Valley dreamboat is laid out with the soil restricting the growth, channeling the grapes to be highly concentrated as they ripen. An old school shiraz, this wine has been matured in American oak barrels for FOUR YEARS, allowing for those juicy juicy tannins to fully develop and soften. Intense, bold and not afraid to stand out, this mofo fave has massive fruit mixed with massive oak. With flavours of deep plum, dark fruits and a creamy vanilla kick on top, you don’t need to hold back on the food flavours to pair. Go big, go rich, go hearty and have yourself a lavish time.
You’d pay $120 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Ulithorne Prospera Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
McLaren Vale — Australia
Small batch and handcrafted using premium fruit from one of their best McLaren Vale vineyards - Ulithorne have made a beautiful shiraz that showcases the region and variety with class and enthusiasm. Vibrant, rich and abuzz with energy, juicy redcurrant and plum punctuate the palate, followed by a generous dash of spice. Fruit forward and silky smooth with lingering tannins throughout, it’s complete with a long, striking finish. Drinking well now and with a decade ahead of it, I wouldn’t let this deal pass you by, mofo.
You’d pay $75 full price.

We’re counting our lucky stars mofo, because the offers from this producer seem to be getting better and better.
