Why do we love this case?

That’s not to say they’re short on quality or complexity – far from it! But to sit there alone while pondering these would be missing the point. They’re built for fun, for fabulous feeds with friends, for big belly-laughs in the best of company. And wherever these wines are, fun times are never far. Cheers to that, mofo!

1x Idi Di Marzo Ore Del Mare Pecorino 2024

White — Other White

Abruzzo — Italy

This wine feels as though it was made out of instinct, that's a good thing by the way, a really good thing. Now it goes without saying that a lot of hard work and plenty of know-how goes into creating gorgeous white wines like this, but we're talking about how this one feels, and, In a word, it feels effortless. A clean, versatile, and ultimately generous wine with racy acid and a structured, textural finish. We're saving a bottle to have with prawn pasta but something tells us this little number could handle anything from a curry to a full-blown Mexican feast. Nachos mightn't have been what the Italian winemakers had in mind, but it's your party, you can eat nachos if you want to.

You'd pay $50 full price.

1x Caythorpe Pinot Gris 2022

White — Pinot Gris

Marlborough — New Zealand

If you head over to Central Wairau in Marlborough, you’ll find the idyllic Caythorpe Family Estate. Its vineyard sits over light silt and alluvial gravels, enjoying longs days of summer sun and cool autumn nights. This is kiwi Gris to a tee (that's fun to say out loud) - apricots and ripe peach with a thin but pointy acid line giving freshness and laser like focus to the wine. Citrusy, melony, delicious-y – a friendly, approachable, anytime white that's uber-moreish. Fare warning though, my tasting bottle seemed to evaporate quite quickly...

You'd pay $50 full price.

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

To say this wine is a firecracker with those beautiful flinty notes wafting from the glass would be just the beginning. The real fire-cracking moment for this wine comes from the zesty, focused and tense acidity that drives right across your palate while oozing layers of fresh apple, pears, citrus and grapefruit. Gorgeous top notes of white flowers also draw you in complimented with beautiful French oak. A magnificent rendition from a region hitting new heights time and time again.

1x Jilyara Williams' Block Chardonnay 2022

White — Chardonnay

Margaret River — Australia

We could ramble on for days and days about why we love chardonnay, especially the wines coming out of Margaret River but here it's the finer details that get us (and the critics) excited and ticking all of the boxes. Coming in at 12.5% and with those cool breezes of the region you just know this is going to be a lighter, more refreshing style of chardy with loads of acidity that will get us coming back for more and more. Delving deeper, the use of new and old oak with stirring of the wine during fermentation gets us salivating with layers of complexity popping out of the glass and on the palate. Finally, barrel selections has ensured only the most balanced, complex and complete wine is bottled.

You'd pay $105 full price.

1x Robert Goulley Petit Chablis AOC 2023

White — Chardonnay

Burgundy — France

Founded in 1950 and now with Robert Goully's grandson Frederic at the helm, their wines are entrenched in experience and knowledge of the terroir, which has been passed down from generation to generation. The nose is aromatic, with notes of crunchy peach, apple and yellow fruit. The well-balanced palate is both fruity and fresh while maintaining structure and definition to the lively acidity. Notes of fresh peach are joined by nectarines, pear and mirabelle plums with subtle hints of quince, butter and toasted characteristics.

You'd pay $70 full price.

1x Middle Earth Wines Pinot Gris 2021

White — Pinot Gris

Nelson — New Zealand

Fresh off the port of New Zealand, Middle Earth is one of our favourite wineries from the south island. We only ever get a limited amount because they don’t make much wine - it’s pretty exclusive. Refreshingly crisp and brimming with sweet luscious honey character, lemon, dragonfruit and quince, this is mouth-filling and textured, piercing the palate with firm acidity and minerality. This is perfect for the humid weather served super chilled; it just slips and slides. Destined to be consumed with your favourite hawker dishes, this wine will happily take the heat off your chilli crab or balance alongside the tamarind sweetness of rojak.

You'd pay $45 full price.

Frequently Asked Questions

This collection brings together six premium white wines from diverse regions and producers, each individually rated between 93-97 points by respected critics like Halliday Wine Companion and Wine Orbit. You're getting exceptional quality across different styles - from crisp Pecorino to rich Chardonnay - at a fraction of what these wines would cost individually. The variety means you can explore different white wine expressions while enjoying consistently high standards.

The pack cleverly balances lighter, mineral-driven wines like the Petit Chablis with richer, oak-influenced Chardonnays from Margaret River and Adelaide Hills. The Pinot Gris offerings provide a middle ground with their textural weight and stone fruit character, while the Italian Pecorino adds Mediterranean flair with its citrus and almond notes. This diversity means you'll have the perfect white for any occasion or food pairing.

The range of flavour profiles - from citrus and green apple to creamy and nutty characteristics - makes this pack incredibly food-friendly. The Chardonnays pair beautifully with roasted chicken or creamy pasta dishes, while the Pinot Gris complements Asian cuisine and spicy foods. The Pecorino's mineral backbone makes it perfect with seafood, and the Petit Chablis is classic with oysters and fresh shellfish.

These wines are crafted for immediate enjoyment and social occasions, as the description emphasises their fun, approachable nature. The 2021-2024 vintages are all in their prime drinking window, showing fresh fruit character and balanced acidity. While some of the Chardonnays could develop further complexity over 2-3 years, they're designed to be shared and enjoyed now rather than tucked away in the cellar.

This pack showcases the diversity of white wine production from established regions like Burgundy (Petit Chablis) to emerging Australian areas including Margaret River and Adelaide Hills. You'll experience different terroir expressions - from the limestone soils that give Chablis its mineral edge to the maritime influence on Margaret River Chardonnay. Each producer brings their own winemaking philosophy, creating a fascinating comparative tasting experience across continents.
