Founded in the late nineteenth century, the historic estate is now in the incredibly capable hands of a dynamic brother and sister duo who have taken quality to breathtaking new heights. Their plot in Les Santenots is actually quite a fascinating geographic anomaly. Physically, the vineyard sits just across the border in the neighbouring village of Meursault. However, because the deep, iron-rich clay over limestone soils here are so perfectly suited to Pinot Noir, the red wines produced from this specific site are legally granted the prestigious Volnay Premier Cru status.
