Why do we love this wine?
The Côtes du Rhône Villages designation is strictly reserved for the absolute best vineyard sites in the region, and it's easy to taste why. The fruit for this Saint Andéol is grown on sun-drenched, stony terraces where the famous mistral winds naturally keep the vines healthy and yields deliberately low. This forces the vines to work harder, producing incredibly concentrated, intensely flavoured grapes. The winemaking here is all about preserving that rugged, terroir-driven character, resulting in a sophisticated French red that completely punches above its weight.
