Chardonnay used to be Burgundy-lovers-only domain; then came Aussie sunshine-in-a-bottle popcorn butter bombs in the ‘80s. Thankfully, modern chardonnay is about texture, balance and complexity. Most importantly, wonderful expressions of this variety are now accessible to all.
